Our Collegiate and Teen campers went back up Burnt Hill Road for one last weekend at camp for our Indian Summer Weekend. The campers boarded the buses bright and early on Long Island and in New Jersey and were greeted in camp by one of our largest staff to volunteer for Indian Summer, ever!
The campers reconnected with their friends, played basketball and football and took A LOT of pictures of their favorite locations in camp! We hosted our first “After-dark Dance Party BBQ” which was a huge success! And what would a weekend in camp be without a little zumba to waka-waka!? 😉
We finished the evening off with some s’mores and Matt K on guitar at a roaring campfire. After a brunch of CCPs (chocolate chip pancakes), french toast and eggs and omelets any style, we dished out the Indian Summer t-shirts and celebrated Josh S’s 14th birthday with a cake on the porch. And then it was time to say goodbye to West for the winter – everyone boarded the buses back home. Great campers – Great Staff – Great weather – WHAT A GREAT WEEKEND!
