November 25th is National Parfait Day.

Parfait,” French for “perfect,” which initially referred to a frozen dessert that began cropping up around the late 1800s. At camp, traditionally we use an ice cream sundae party on Opening Night to introduce our Big Brother and Sisters (campers entering 10th and 11th grade) to their little brother and sisters (campers entering 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. What better way to get to know someone than over ice cream!
