In 2003, we had the largest group of Junior Counselor’s in the history of Timber Lake West – 14. Seven of them got together the other night for dinner at a Mexican restaurant. Jordan Macklin who is currently teaching 7th grade in Queens and going to graduate school checking in with us to let us know how the evening went “Some of jc's '03 met up so we figured we'd send in a little update for the Western Union.

Julie Castro (current Leadership Staff), Amanda Gross (current Leadership Staff), Jordana Macklin, Ashley Orkin, Emily Dougherty, Emily Wanger, and Brooke Peltz had a mini camp reunion one weekend in NYC. The girls took a break from their busy schedules of working and school to catch up and reminisce on all of their great TLW memories. Although, it has been years since they have bunked together, when they get together nothing seems to have changed."

Former Division Leader Sam Dunphy’s wife had a baby boy. Little William Ernst Dunphy checking in to this world on June 16th, 2009 weighing 8 lb 2 oz. We wish everyone well!

Congratulations to Iyla Wilkins and Marc Wilson on their wedding – the bride looks beautiful!

At West we are all linked by a strong bond and by the memories of our summers at camp. We are eager to reconnect with those of you who have been out of touch, and deepen our ties to those of you who have remained in contact with our camp community.

Our web site has a few fantastic tools which enable us to better communicate with each of you and to help relive the best times of your lives. We encourage each of you to register in our Alumni Guestbook which will enable you to reunite and communicate with your Timber Lake West camp pals. You be provided a username and password. Once logged in, you'll be able to search for friends, post your own camp photos or share memories via the Bulletin Board! You will also get occasional emails about events at West including upcoming reunions.

The Alumni section will help you hear about any alumni news, catch up with old friends, and even see who's having babies, bar mitzvah's and even weddings. We encourage you to post messages and share your lives with your long lost friends.

We'll also occasionally produce an alumni newsletter that will be available on this web site or via email. It will have even more information and news for all of our old campers and counselors.

Finally the Alumni spotlight will feature an interview with a former camper. We will occasionally ask an alumnus to update us on his or her life. It will be fun to see what your peers are up to.
